Happy New Year

I hope all of you have a GREAT and WONDERFUL New year!!! I do not do resolutions because I mean who really keeps them? I do look forward to the new things of this year and what it might bring. Life is ever changing and I love change!!! So hope this new year brings you whatever you are hoping for :O)

Shaving and little girls!

Okay so Madison just has so much hair on her legs. Not sure where she actually gets this from because neither Lop nor I are very hairy people. But the girl has some serious hair LOL. Now the question here is when did you start shaving your legs? I can not for the life of me remember how old I was when I started. Is next year, she will be in 6th grade, to young? Or should I make her wait? Ummm it is an ever pondering thought.

Never EVER again

will I let one whole week pass without exercising!!! OMG I feel like I am about to die. But hahaha that might also be because I have a super bad cold. But I can not let that stop me!!!!

Well it is all over :O(

Boy it seems sometimes for Christmas to get here and then BAM!!! it is all over in a flash of a moment. We really had a nice small one this year. I FINALLY got to see the new Pirate movie last night and darn that was good. Got to love them pirates in the form of Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Even if it wasn't good LOL 3 hours of just looking at them is more than worth it :O)!!! Also watched Meet The Robinson's and that was another good kids one. Still have 2 more to watch and will probably catch them today and tomorrow.

Got back to exercising this week. Last week was a bust with all I had to get done and places we had to go. Today about killed me when I started up again BUT I am determined to lose the rest of what I want this next year. Not a resolution cause I so do NOT do those. This is for ME!!!

The two greatest things ever created!

When it comes to Christmas or anytime of the year that things have to be wrapped I say a THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to whoever came up with the gift bag and the new paper cutter thing that scotch makes. I know so many parents today like me.. sit there and look at something they bought for a child and go.. Yeah right like I can wrap this LOL. Talk about a major pain in the butt. Thank you to whoever came up with the gift bag!! My second Thank you goes to scotch and the paper cutter thing they put out this year. Man did that save me some time on wrapping. I have cheap kid scissors and I never can get it to just run up the paper LOL. Well this little thing just goes and goes. I LOVE it.

DONE DONE DONE

Okay well thanks to Tommy I was able to finish ALL my shopping yesterday!! Got going about 9:30 in the morning and OMG didn't step foot in my door until 6:30 at night. It took all day but I am DONE!!!! I so swear after having to go out and do it this year I am going to save like mad and NEVER do that again. Give me shopping online any day. This was NUTS!!! I HATE SHOPPING!!! I know that coming from a girl LOL. But seriously I can not stand it. I think my sister wore me out on it since she likes to stay in one store for friggin hours. I like going in getting what I want and then out again. I did get some good buys and got almost verything they wanted.. okay well not the damn Wii. I gave the hell up on that. I REFUSE to chase any toy down. then found out that Nintendo only makes 1.8 million of these puppies a year to go across the world. They are doing it so they can keep the demand on them high and not have to lower the price. That is so screwed up to me because this makes for people fighting over them and also for so many kids to be disappointed in not getting one. Leave it to Japan to screw with kids!!!

Britney Spears's 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. Nickelodeon, which carries her TV show Zoey 101, said in a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being." Spears and her mother confirmed the pregnancy to OK! magazine, saying she was 12 weeks along and the father is Jamie Lynn's longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Aldridge's mother confirmed it to TMZ.com."It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," Jamie Lynn told OK!, according to the Associated Press. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he." Spears told the magazine that after confirming the pregnancy with a home test and a subsequent doctor's visit, she told only one friend – then waited two weeks before telling anybody else, including her parents. "I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision," she told the magazine. "Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."

Breaking the News to Her ParentsShe told her parents just before Thanksgiving. "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious," her mother, Lynne Spears, told OK!. "She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby." Aldridge's mother, Joyce Aldridge, told TMZ she was "aware of the recent interview regarding her and being pregnant" and that "we are in agreement with everything that was said by Jamie Lynn." "Everything is fine," Joyce Aldridge added. Spears, a high school junior who is 10 years younger than Britney, had until now escaped much of the attention about her personal life that has surrounded her sister. Jamie Lynn stars as a schoolgirl at the fictitious Pacific Coast Academy in Zoey 101, finishing its third season next month as one of Nickelodeon's highest-rated shows. A rep for Spears was not immediately available for comment.

Another Celeb Marriage Bites the Dust

Pamela Anderson, Rick Salomon Divorcing

Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon are getting divorced after two months of marriage, CelebTV.com is reporting. Anderson, 40, filed for divorce Friday, citing irreconcilable differences. Her rep had no comment on the filing. The former Baywatch star married Salomon, 39, at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas on Oct. 6 – during an hour-and-a-half break between two magic shows Anderson was performing. The marriage was the third for both. Anderson was previously married to Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Salomon's ex-wives are Elizabeth Daily and Shannen Doherty.

Singer Dan Fogelberg Dies of Cancer

NEW YORK -- Dan Fogelberg, the singer and songwriter whose hits "Leader of the Band" and "Same Old Lang Syne" helped define the soft-rock era, died Sunday at his home in Maine after battling prostate cancer. He was 56.

His death was announced in a statement by Anna Loynes of the Solters & Digney public relations agency, and it was also posted on the singer's Web site.

"Dan left us this morning at 6:00 a.m. He fought a brave battle with cancer and died peacefully at home in Maine with his wife Jean at his side," it read. "His strength, dignity and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him."

Fogelberg discovered he had advanced prostate cancer in 2004. In a statement then, he thanked fans for their support.

"It is truly overwhelming and humbling to realize how many lives my music has touched so deeply all these years," he said.

Fogelberg's music was powerful in its simplicity. He didn't rely on the volume of his voice to convey his emotions; instead, they came through in the soft, tender delivery and his poignant lyrics. Songs like "Same Old Lang Syne" — in which a man reminisces after meeting an old girlfriend by chance during the holidays — became classics not only because of his performance, but for the engaging storyline, as well.

Fogelberg's heyday was in the 1970s and early 80s, when he scored several platinum and multiplatinum records, fueled by such hits as "The Power of Gold" and "Leader of the Band," a touching tribute he wrote to his father, a bandleader.

I loved Dan while I was growing up. Although in later years I didn't listen to him much. He will definitely be missed!!!

Preston was standing near me and walks over and says "Mom her back is nasty" but then points to her butt crack and says "But that right there I like" OMG HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Now you have to understand.. this comes after him saying to us one night when Caleb was telling Madison that she needed to start wearing a bra when she got to middle school cause they had to undress in gym and she would be made fun of if she didn't have a bra and panties on. Preston looks up and says... "Bra and panties ummmm now that is a sight I would like to see"

Seriously?? I mean seriously!!! It is going to be what SEVENTY EIGHT today? Did I even read that right? Not only today but tomorrow also!! Ok did someone forget this is December? Well life is getting better

YES!!! just got on the scale and I am down another 5 pounds. I so LOVE Billy Blanks. Talk about whipping your butt into shape? He is the man to do it. I probably don't need to lose as much as I think I do... this will only tell in time.. but I am feeling a LOT better and looking a hell of a lot better also. My son's friends tell me I am "hot". Got to love that coming from teenagers ;O) not that I want a teenager.. but hey they do make ya feel good to think they think that. But then again I have NEVER fallen into the norm and I do NOT wear "mom jeans" LOL. Give me American Eagle and Hollister any day!! Maybe I don't want to grow up.. can't believe I ever will. Do i feel 43? NOPE and i don't want to. I like feeling young. I like that my kids friends like to come to my house. I like that they talk to me and tell me things they would never tell there own parents. I have a friend whose mom was like that. Hell she still is!!! I like my "old" music but like the new stuff also. All this to say... I am so happy that I am one step closer to that belly button ring LOL. yep when I hit what I want my goal weight to be.. I am doing it. And ask me if I care what people think and your answer will be not only NO but HELL NO!!!

Having to start over

YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! Well here we go again. My son lost everything on my computer. Then my last blog place went "out of business?" and I lost all my pictures. Very sad to say the least.. but I guess we all live and learn. But here we go again. I am sure google will not be going out of business anytime soon.. so I think we are pretty much safe in doing it this way. For that I am grateful.. but now I am having to learn everything over again. Hoping that I can have a dear friend of ours teach me all the ropes... here I come Tommy so be prepared to be blasted with ... "Hey how do you?" or "Can you tell me where I go to do this?" But you are ever so sweet ;O) so i know you will be kind enough to help me. So all that said..... here we go again.....
