Student Driver Crashes Into DMV

LEESBURG, Va. -- A student driver crashed into a Department of Motor Vehicles building on Saturday when she was taking her road test. Police said Nita Sureka, of Ashburn, accidentally accelerated when she was trying to park, crashing into the building at 945 Edwards Ferry Road. The building was damaged and had to be closed for the day. No one was injured inside the building. A passenger was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Sureka, who was driving a 2000 Volkswagen, was cited for reckless driving.

Oops!! Wonder is she will be afraid to drive after this little faux paux? Having an accident "before" you even get your license can make you hesitant about driving at all. Kinda like what happened to me when I innocently drove my boyfriend's car off a pier and into the river. Again ooops!! It could have happened to anybody!!

Joanne and I had hard time picking our "would you eat this" this week. But really I think this is the worst of them. The other was some nasty looking tofu (who eats that crap??) soup. Not even sure what this is but Joanne thinks it looks like slugs LOL on top of something called Polenta???

I never thought I would see

the day when it cost me FIFTY DOLLARS to fill my gas tank. this is so ou of control it is crazy. I would "get it" a bit more if the people from the gas places where feeling it but there NOT!!! Just making MORE money for there fat little selves. I am SICK of it!!!!!

This is so darn true

Ok for anyone out there that has a son (and I have 3 of them) I laughed so hard cause really you don't want to know how true some of these are. My kids did that with a waterbed (now grant you theirs was a full sized but still LOL)

25 Things You Know If You Have A Son...
1. A king size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 square foot house 4 inches deep.
2. If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
3. A 3-year old boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
4. If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not strong enough to rotate a 42 pound boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20 x 20 foot room.
5. You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up in the air a few times, before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way.
6. The glass in windows (even double-pane) doesn't stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
7. When you hear the toilet flush and the words 'uh oh', it's already too late.
8. Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
9. A six-year old boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a 36-year old man says they can only do it in the movies.
10. Certain Legos will pass through the digestive tract of a four-year-old boy.
11. Playdoh and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
12. Super glue is forever.
13. No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water.
14. Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
15. VCR's do not eject 'PB & J' sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
16. Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.
17. Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
18. You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
19. Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
20. The fire department in Austin, TX has a five-minute response time .
21. The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
22. It will, however, make cats dizzy.
23. Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.
24. 80% of Women will pass this on to almost all of their friends, with or without kids.
25. 80% of Men who read this will try mixing the Clorox and brake fluid

OH NO Not Mary Anne

Ok I am not posting the story about her cause we all know about it. Couple of funnies though.

1st one: Lop and I have actually met her a few times. When we were young pups LOL we worked at a dinner theater in Nashville. The dinner theater was going under and somehow the owner (who we all knew and loved because he was in there everyday and who by the way looked EXACTLY like Fred Flintstone and I am so not even kidding) got in touch with her and she was thinking of investing into it. The first time she came in you would have thought (insert your own person who you think is out of this world beautiful) came in. I mean I have never seen so many gay guys say they would go straight for this chic. I found that to be very amusing. And here I always thought "Ginger" was the one they where all "hot" for!! Guess I was WAY off on that LOL. Anyway she is/was a really nice person. We all had a blast talking with her. And who would have thought back then that there would be headlines of her being busted for pot??

2nd: And I know much to the dismay of my/our Demo friends LOL. I was watching the dreaded Bill O'Reilly (I know I know LOL and I love Hannity and Colmes also) and he had me cracking up last night when he asked if she got an AARP discount on weed. OMG now that was funny

New York Governor Spitzer Resigns Amid Sex Scandal

Saying, "I sincerely apologize," New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer announced his resignation during a brief statement delivered Wednesday morning from his downtown Manhattan office. His stepping down comes in the wake of his being linked to a prostitution ring. "I am deeply sorry I did not live up to what was expected of me," said Spitzer, referring to his "private failings" for which, he also said, "I've begun to atone." The announcement (see video of the statement below) follows a stunning two days of revelations about Spitzer's personal activities. At a press conference Monday with his wife, Silda, at his side (as she was for Wednesday's announcement), Spitzer said: "I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family and violates my – or any – sense of right and wrong." He added, "I apologize to the public, whom I promised better."The resignation effectively ends Spitzer's political career just 16 months after he was elected New York's Democratic governor by a wide margin. With Spitzer out of office, New York's state constitution calls for his job to pass to his lieutenant governor and running mate, Lt. Gov. David A. Paterson, 53, a legally blind former legislator. Paterson, whom the Wall Street Journal described as being "as widely liked as Mr. Spitzer is controversial," also becomes the Empire State's first African-American governor. The transfer of power will take place on Monday, Spitzer said, as he also announced that this was the desire of Paterson.

Hmmm another Democrat caught in a sex scandal, imagine that!! Just had to say that because of our former Democrat loving friends who shall remain nameless.

You Know The Music Is To Loud

When you're in your car with the windows up and the cop in the lane next to you with his windows also up tells you to turn it down lol. I put my window down, flashed him a smile and said "can I wait until the song is over?" he laughed and said "ok blondie since you asked so sweet." And I continued rocking on lol. I can't help it if I like my rock & roll LOUD.
