Can someone again try and

make me believe there is global warming with temps like this in August let alone in the state of GA!!! Ummm it will be a hard thing to convince me of it right about now

I don't think global warming means each day has to be scorching. Just that, on a whole, temperatures are gently nudging up in critical areas, such as the polar ice caps, the poles, and the equator.

Sorta like when we had these same temps back in April and wondered what the hell was going on. "Is it this hot already?" was the cry.

But I welcome a break from the Floridian-like days of July. Fall weather can't get here soon enough for me!

Me either Tommy. But when temps like this hit and it snows in Malibu (which it NEVER does) it is the first thing I think of. I am of the mind set that nature has it own course that it takes and so forth

Nature does have its own course. All scientists can do is predict trends based on what's happening. But I think this current dip in the temperatures is more b/c of the rain coming into town than it is Rush being right about climate change.

We're having the same temps up here. I had the heat on in the car this morning on the way to work. I don't ever remember an August being so cool. It feels like Fall not the dead of summer. It took forever for us to get through spring and get some actual warm temps now it looks like summer is almost over.
